Our Role
Established in 2003 and granted 501(c)(3) status in 2006, the Harris County Drug Court Foundation’s mission is to:
1) Provide financial support to the Harris County’s STAR (Success Through Addiction Recovery) felony drug court program.
2) Raise awareness in the community about the life saving, fiscally responsible activities of the STAR program.
Should you wish for one of our representatives to attend your community or organizational event, please click here to fill out a form and we will contact you soon. Alternatively you can contact us today.
The Foundation’s board and staff are all volunteers and proceeds go directly to STAR for recovery support services and treatment. For more information about STAR click here.
The Foundation’s activities include fundraising and various events to raise awareness about STAR and our mission to support the STAR program. We’ve attended community fairs and other events to create awareness about our foundation and to provide more information about the STAR drug court model.
Our community partners consist of Interfaith Ministries and Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church.
